Four Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree
The driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.
A 20-year-old man crashed head-on into a tree in Montrose early Sunday in Montrose, injuring four women and trapping one of the women in the car, according to the Glendale Police Department.
The crash on the southeast corner of Honolulu Avenue and Ocean View Boulevard happened at 4:30 a.m. Sunday, Glendale police Sgt. Tom Lorenz told Patch. The wreck happened hours before the weekly .
The woman passenger was eventually freed from the vehicle by members of the Glendale Fire Department, but all four women were injured, Lorenz said. The driver was not injured or transported to a hospital.

Two of the women, one suffering a broken arm and the other sustaining spine fractures, were taken to Glendale Adventist Medical Center. The other two were taken to , one with cervical tube fractures and another with a dislocated hip and broken arm.
The 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI, according to police.
