Deputies Seeking Man Who Allegedly Abducted Ex-Girlfriend Located in Crescenta Valley

The victim is found her in her car in the Sunland area late Tuesday, officials say.

Sheriff's deputies in Santa Clarita sought a man Wednesday for allegedly abducting an ex-girlfriend and roughing her up.

The woman was abducted Tuesday night as she walked through parking lot at McBean Parkway and The Old Road, Deputy Josh Dubin said.

"While they were driving, she attempted to call for help using her cell phone, but the suspect allegedly hit her and took the phone away," Dubin said. "The suspect fled the scene once the vehicle ran out of gas."

The name of the suspect was withheld.

The woman, whose name was withheld, called a family member, and he or she called deputies, who found her in her car in the Sunland area late Tuesday.
