A driver slammed his pick up truck into a big rig on the eastbound Foothill (210) Freeway and was transported by helicopter to a trauma center in critical condition, according to the California Highway Patrol.
It's unclear if the person, who is listed as 70 years old, was driving or a passenger when the accident happened about 3:35 p.m. Friday near Lowell Avenue in La Crescenta, CHP Officer Tatiana Sauquillo told Patch.
