Crime Blotter: Wednesday's Petty Thefts

The following reports were taken from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Crescenta Valley Station and Glendale Police. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Friday, Aug. 19

Glendale Police responded to a drunk in public call at 5:58 a.m. in the 3800 block of Mayfield Avenue.

A residential burglary was reported in the 4500 block of Castle Road at 1 p.m.

Saturday, Aug. 20

A drugs misdemeanor occurred near Kentucky Place and Maryland Avenue at 2:50 p.m.

Sunday, Aug. 21

At 2:21 a.m. a vehicle break-in was reported in the 3200 block of Altamura Avenue.

Glendale Police reported vandalism near Broadview Drive and Verdugo Road at 12:30 p.m.

A burglary was reported at 1:15 p.m. in the 3700 block of La Crescenta Avenue.

Glendale Police reported a petty theft in the 3900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue at 1:20 p.m.

Wednesday, Aug. 24

At 4:22 a.m., Glendale Police reported petty theft in the 3800 block of Altura Avenue.

Vandalism in the 2000 block of Oak Valley Road was reported to Glendale Police at 6 a.m.

Glendale Police reported petty theft at 10:27 a.m. in the 2300 block of Honolulu Avenue.

At 5:57 p.m. petty theft was reported in the 3400 block of Rosemary Avenue.

The following reports were taken from Glendale Police Daily Booking Reports. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

James Michael Roberts, a 45-year old male employed in construction, was arrested on license violations and driving under the influence charges at 9:15 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 20, near the intersection of Angeles Crest Highway and 210 Freeway.

At 9:45 a.m. Monday, 26-year-old Eduard Amirkhanyan, listed as a personal banker, was arrested on charges relating to the aiding and abetting a speed contest near Mountain Street and the Glendale (2) Freeway.

John Schwartz, 58, was arrested on drunk in public charges at 9:00 a.m. Tuesday at the intersection of Honolulu Avenue and Wickham Way. His bail was set at $250.
