Crime Blotter: Thefts and Burglaries

The following arrest information was supplied by the Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station and the Glendale Police Department. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

The following reports were taken from the, Crescenta Valley Station.

Theft

At 7 a.m. on Friday, June 17, a female resident of the 2300 block of El Moreno Avenue reported to deputies that stolen from her unlocked vehicle were an Apple iTouch worth $400, a Magellan GPS system valued at $400, and a make-up bag containing assorted cosmetics worth $700.

Residential Burglary

A resident in the 2900 block of El Caminito Street returned to her home at 11:55 p.m. Friday, June 17, to discover a bent window screen and pine needles on a coffee table that had previously been clean. Despite the home’s door being locked upon her arrival, she believed that someone had been inside her residence while she had been out. Nothing was reported missing from the residence.

Vehicle Burglary

At 1:30 a.m. June 18, a female resident of the 300 block of Paraiso Way reported to deputies that she had discovered her car’s trunk ajar and front door open despite her belief that she had left it locked and secured. No evidence of forced entry was reported, but items were taken from the car’s trunk and passenger cabin. Reported stolen were $60 in cash, a Lenova laptop, Blackberry phone, iPod, and Coach bag all together valued at $1950.

Glendale Police reported a petty theft in the 2100 block of El Arbolita Drive at 1 a.m. June 18.

Glendale Police reported an assault in the 1400 block of Valane Drive at 2:01 a.m. on June 20.

Identity theft was reported to Glendale Police at noon on June 19 in the 3200 block of Henrietta Avenue.

At 9:10 a.m. on June 20, Glendale Police reported a petty theft at Honolulu and New York Avenues.

A vehicle was reported stolen to Glendale Police at 1 a.m. June 20 in the 3200 block of Altura Avenue.

Los Angeles County Sheriffs reported a burglary in the 2900 block of Community Avenue at 1 p.m. on June 21.

At 6 p.m. on June 21, a burglary occurred in the 1700 block of Sombra Drive.

 Glendale Police reported a vehicle burglary at 1 a.m. in the 2800 block of Hermosa Avenue on June 22. At 3:30 a.m., a second vehicle burglary was reported in the 2700 block of the Hermosa Avenue.
