Crime Blotter: Car Thefts, Local Arrests

The following reports were taken from Glendale Police and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported a vehicle burglary in the 4400 block of Ocean View Boulevard at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Glendale Police reported a vehicle break-in at 2:47 a.m. Monday in the 3900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue.

Glendale Police reported an attempted theft at 11:30 p.m. Monday in the 4900 block of Frederick Avenue.

A petty theft was reported in the 3900 block of Lowell Avenue at 6 p.m. Tuesday.

The following were taken from Glendale Police daily booking reports. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Marcus Robert, identified as a 49-year-old mechanic, was arrested on suspicion of making criminal threats. The arrest occurred at 12:32 p.m. Sunday at 2260 Honolulu Avenue. Bail was set at $50,000.

Alan Jeffrey Andrews, identified as a 27-year-old landscaper, was arrested on two warrants, including alleged possession of controlled substance and alleged assault with a deadly weapon. The arrest occurred at 5 p.m. Monday at Broadway and the Glendale (2) Freeway. Bail for both warrants was set at $100,000 each.
