Vandalism by Tire

A resident in the 4300 block of Ramsdell Avenue found a used tire lodged under the rear bumper of his 2005 Infinite Q56 SUV, parked on the street, at 7:30 a.m. Friday, Sept. 9. Deputies reported $1000 in damages to the vehicle.

Siphoned Gas

A man reported that sometime between noon Thursday, Sept. 8 and 8:30 Friday, Sept. 9, gas was stolen from his 1994 GMC Safari van parked in the rear lot of , 2060 Montrose Ave. The victim noticed the gas cover door of his car pried open and bent in half and the gas cap on the pavement. When he checked the van’s gas gauge, he saw that a quarter of a tank of gas was missing. Fingerprints were recovered from the gas door cover.

Glendale Police reported a stolen vehicle in the 3800 block of Mayfield Avenue at 7:02 a.m. Monday.

Glendale Police reported grand theft in the 2200 block of Honolulu Avenue Tuesday at 11:30 p.m.

Vandalism was reported in the 3300 block of Alabama Street at 2:52 p.m. Wednesday.

Glendale Police reported a burglary in the 2700 block of Montrose Avenue at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday.

An assault occurred in the 3800 block of Sunset Avenue at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Los Angeles County Sherriff’s Department reported two residential burglaries on Thursday in Los Olivos Lane. A burglary was reported in the 3000 block at 5:30 a.m. and in the 2900 block at 8 a.m.

The following were taken from daily booking reports. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

Both Tae Hoan, 21, and Cody James Solomon, 20, were arrested about 12:40 a.m. Monday at Foothill Boulevard and Boston Avenue. Hoan was arrested on suspicion of warrant violations and Solomon was arrested on suspicion of possession of drugs and a warrant for failure to appear.

Ismael Torres, 27, was arrested on suspicion of theft of lost or stolen property, possession of a controlled substance and a warrant violation for driving under the influence. Torres was arrested at 2:45 p.m. Monday in the 7900 block of Foothill Boulevard.
