Vandalism to a Church
Deputies responded to a vandalism call at the , 4441 La Crescenta Avenue. A 12-inch crack that spider-webbed across the glass of the main lobby's window was made with an unknown object sometime between the afternoon of Friday, Nov. 25 and 8 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 26. A church representative reported that no hate mail or phone calls were connected to the vandalism. The damage faced the Community Avenue side of the church building.

Mejia Sergio Roberto, a 21-year-old painter, was arrested at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday on suspicion of disturbing the peace. The arrest occurred at 3800 Ocean View Blvd. Bail was set at $1,000.
