The San Diego man who allegedly went on a murderous rampage in a Colorado movie theater worked as a cabin counselor at a camp run by the Jewish Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Los Angeles, it was reported Saturday.
NBC Los Angeles and The Los Angeles Times reported that James Eagan Holmes worked at Camp Max Straus, in the mountains above Glendale, in the summer of 2008.
Randy Schwab, CEO of the camp, reportedly told parents in a statement that Holmes had worked at the non-sectarian camp for one summer.
