Car Catches Fire in La Crescenta

A car started on fire in La Crescenta, according to the California Highway Patrol.

A car caught fire at Encinal and Pennsylvania avenues in La Crescenta, according to California Highway Patrol.

Someone reported the flames about 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, just north of the Foothill (210) Freeway, the CHP reported. 

The vehicle, a 4-door Honda, appeared to have caught fire near at the rear.

Glendale firefighters, police and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Crescenta Valley Station, deputies were blocking traffic while crews cleaned up.
