I am trying to understand how a car can start on fire. I guess it is the burning of gas in the cylinders that makes it start. The car started a fire in La Crescenta...I get the feeling only the car was on fire, and if it was in La Crescenta, yes I can see how. Please don't tell me it belonged to Kim Kardashian.

I love you people..you are so fun to tease. Now, we have a car that sets fires. This is like a pyromaniacal Herbie. I wonder if it set itself on fire....The car needs counseling.

Yesterday about 5pm I got off the fwy at Pennsylvania and saw this car. The fire was already out and 2 cop cars were there. It appeared that the trunk was burned out and there was fire damage to the rear quarter panels and tires. I don't know how a trunk catches fire.

@Lisa - I'm not sure either how the trunk caught fire. I can try and find out.

Nicole: You are not going to try to set your trunk on fire, are you.? It was probably a run away meth lab. ...

Had a car catch fire years ago. Yes, it caught itself on fire. Faulty wiring harness. No clue how it happens in the trunk, maybe a gas leak & something sparked?
