Surveillance Video Shows Suspects Damaging Christmas Decorations

Authorities hope the public will be able to identify the suspects based on the surveillance video, which is available to view below.

are investigating the theft and vandalism of Christmas decorations at a home in the 4900 block of Indianola Dr.

The La Canada resident reported that late on Dec. 10, unidentified suspects allegedly damaged an animated/mechanical sleigh that was attached to the edge of the roof, Det. Todd Sams said Friday. The suspects also allegedly stole a stuffed animal.

"It's my assumption that the suspects are local residents,'' Sams said.

The resident's surveillance video captured the alleged theft and vandalism, which you can watch to the right.

Sams believes the public may be able to recognize the vehicle or one or more of the suspects based on the surveillance video.
