There were 8 crimes committed last week in a two-mile radius of the center of Montrose, according to data from the CrimeMapping.com website. That compares to 12 crimes over the same period of time in the prior week.
Notably last week there were no burglaries reported in the area.
The site contains crime data reported by the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and the Glendale Police Department, and includes some areas in neighboring cities.
The crime break-down, from Monday July 8 to Sunday July 14, was:
- 3 reported assaults, one of them domestic violence
- 3 cases larceny/theft
- 2 stolen cars
