SWM Seeks Non-Crazy

Newly removed from a push-pull relationship, Montrose single Samuel Wayne pontificates if marriage can be possible without multiple trips to the liquor store.

Looking to escape far and away, sales expert Samuel Wayne finds solace in having only one place to buy his milk and cheese. I found him near on Honolulu Avenue where I had previously booked a fabulous girls trip.

He was super cute, and has no doubt received no small number of double-takes from local ladies. But I tried to stay focused on my mission instead of his transparent blue eyes in order to find out why he was and what he looked for in his dream girl. As it turned out, this ex-actor was looking for more than just a getaway and he was clearly limiting his options to the hardest girl to find—a low maintenance sex kitten without a hidden agenda.

Name: Samuel Wayne

Age: 36

Occupation: Sales

Current Location: Village Travel Service in Montrose

Relationship Status: Single

Interested In: A down-to-earth woman who knows how to have .

Are you looking to travel somewhere?

I’m thinking about it. Maybe a in Hawaii.

Escaping anything in particular?

I just got out of a relationship with my .

Was it traumatic?

We were together four and a half years. After the first six months, I broke up with her and then we got back together and she broke up with me. Then we would get back together and it would happen all over again.

What was the problem? Talk to me. I won’t tell anyone.

I think I wasn’t into her in the first go around and then she wasn’t into me.

So, there was always someone retreating and the other pursuing?

I think people want what they can’t have. I think it’s human .

When you knew you couldn’t have her, you just wanted her more?

Yeah, when I knew she had mentally checked out, I would try and get her back.

Do you think that makes you a commitment phobe?

Yea. Pretty much. I don’t blame her for ending it recently. We stopped having physical intimacy and I am a firm believer that you have to have that connection in a relationship. For example, if you go to your local and they’re out of milk and cheese, you’re going to go to another grocery store to get it. That’s a bad analogy, I know.

Ya think?

If the physical connection is not there, a guy is going to go somewhere else and get it. They might not tell you that, but they are.

They are?

Yup.

So, if someone is too into you, you are repelled.

I guess. When I wanted her back, she took the bait and then a little bit later, I lost interest again.

Sounds like a blast. Did you just say she took the bait? What was the bait? Never mind.

Well, nothing against females in general, but she had her bitch moments.

All are crazy to some degree.

My ex would just get mean whenever she didn’t get food or sleep. So, if she was well and well rested and then still angry, you knew something wasn’t right.

Sounds like she may actually have less problems than most. Do you go out to meet women in Montrose?

I don’t go prowling for women. That has never been my style. I enjoy relaxing and having a with my friends. We go to Blue Moon sometimes or to watch games a lot. That’s probably my favorite place in Montrose. Most people aren’t single in this neck of the woods, so I don’t think I will meet anyone in this area as far as goes.

You seem like a good 'ole boy. It’s refreshing. Do you ever want to get married?

I don’t necessarily believe in marriage anymore.

Why not?

All of my friends that are married with seem miserable. They stay with their wives because of the kids. The majority of marriages I see are not good. They feel like there is no escape so they start drinking or taking anti-anxiety medications. And that doesn’t sound fun.

Who are these people you are friends with?

I don’t know. Every circumstance is different. I’m not ruling it out.

What are the top three qualities you look for in a woman?

Easy, down-to-earth, fun. She has to be fun. I don’t need much. Honesty would be good. I would also like someone who isn’t high maintenance.

I said three. Let’s stay in reality.

And my ex wanted me to be more successful than I was at the time. Whereas, I don’t care if she cleaned toilets for a living. It didn’t matter. I cared about who she was, not what she did for a living.

Aww. That’s really sweet!

I have a tendency to lean on women for reasons because I sometimes work as an actor. I enjoy . I just don’t do it that much. The odds are just against you.

Nothing wrong with a sugar mama. Do you have a nightmare dating story?

Actually, it was kind of funny, but I was at the last week with a date and another girl approached me by the restrooms and asked me to go home with her.

Wow. And did you?

No! I am not the type.

Any advice to other Montrose singles?

Drink heavily and I am the worst person to ask for advice.

I can well empathsize with your loss. First thing, can you remember taking it off anywhere? DidRead More you wash your hands anywhere, soap makes fingers slippery. Did it fit well or was it a little loose? Running makes the arms swing. Strange as it may seem, it may still be in or on your own property. There are still honest people, call the desk of every business you went to. Also, call every pawn shop in your area and report. Good luck. If its any comfort, I found a diamond studded tie tack when I gazed at the soil in my garden and saw it. Keep us posted. b
