Descanso Garden's Japanese Festival

My husband and I went to Descanso Gardens yesterday. First we had a delicious lunch in the Japanese Tea Garden. Next we were able to see the Ikebana Display, which is the beautiful art of flower arranging. This was located next to the tea garden. We then walked to the Under the Oaks Theater for an informative presentation on the traditional kimono garments. As the Los Angeles Kimono Club provided information about the garments, a fashion show was presented. It was a delightful, peaceful day at beautiful Descanso Gardens. We are so fortunate to have this beautiful garden in our neighborhood.
