Blog: The K-Rails are Leaving

K-rails, which prevented street flooding, are leaving La Crescenta.

What's big, ugly, takes up all of our parking, but when it rains, offers more security than a dozen Secret Service Agents?  

Yes, the K-rails in front of our house are leaving. I, for one, am very sorry to see them go. They were not pretty, but at midnight, during a heavy rainstorm with mud and water pouring down our street, they were a great comfort. I am very sad to see them go, but I hope never to see them again.

Did it fit well or was it a little loose? Running makes the arms swing. Strange as it may seem, it may still be in or on your own property. There are still honest people, call the desk of every business you went to. Also, call every pawn shop in your area and report. Good luck. If its any comfort, I found a diamond studded tie tack when I gazed at the soil in my garden and saw it. Keep us posted. b

I'm hoping that it is on my property otherwise I am at the grace of good honest people... Thank you for your suggestions and I have filed a lost property report and I will definitely call the local pawn shops. Keeping it in perspective and at the end of the day it is just an object, but I'm definitely hoping that it finds its way back.
