Join your neighbors and friends to reduce the risk of fires by
clearing grass, dead plant material, and trimming up shrubs on the land
on Chaney Trail owned by the Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy, your local
land trust. Many of you have helped out in the past and we need your
help again.

When: Saturday, June 9, from 8 - 11 am.
Where: Intersection of Chaney Trail and Alzada Road, Altadena

You should wear gloves, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, hat, boots or
sturdy shoes, and sunscreen. Bring tools if you have them - if you don't
we will provide. There is poison oak in the area - if you are sensitive
you need to be able to identify it and keep away. Please leave your
small children at home. You will be asked to sign a liability waiver.
And you will get a good workout on what looks to be a beautiful day!

If you can't participate but still want to help, contributions to
Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy, P.O. Box 3, Altadena, CA 91003-0003 are
always appreciated.
