CV Church Brings The Sound Of Music To La Crescenta

Worship Leader Petri Nauha and the CV Community Church band, together with special musical guests, welcomed friends to Crescenta Valley Community Church Sunday, for a night of soul, pop, rock and groovy good summer vibrations.

The hosted a free concert Sunday evening, featuring a variety of uplifting music from across multiple genres and the talents of its own congregation band, led by guitarist, vocalist, and charismatic Worship Leader, Petri Nauha.

Harmony and laughter filled the night, and when the music was through, the band invited all that were assembled to stay and visit over refreshments in the courtyard nextdoor.

CV Church hosts an event for music lovers called “Strings & Beans.” The show is a monthly coffee house series, held on the first Tuesday of every month.

This concert series features real gigging artists, stopping by and making an evening of it in La Crescenta.

Additionally CV Church is also hosting a guitar and vocal camp beginning Monday, June 25 at 8:30 a.m.

The camp will be led by Azusa Pacific University School of Music graduates Moses Sun and LaKesha Nugent. Students in grades 5-8 are welcome.

CV Church is located at 4001 La Crescenta Ave. (at the corner of Piedmont between Montrose and Honolulu), La Crescenta.

I am a volunteer for an organization that offers free drug education kits to any teacher with booklets on the various harmful drugs .
