Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station Gives Back During Its Toy and Food Drive

The sheriff's office says families were given toys, large baskets of food and $20 gift certificates.

The Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station had its annual Toy and Food Drive Saturday, Dec. 21. 

According to the sheriff's office press release, "The Station decided to invite over 100 families (Over 200 children) to the station to meet Santa Clause and McGruff, the Crime Fighting Dog."

The Glendale News Press reported that the invited families came from La Cañada Flintridge, La Crescenta, Glendale, Tujunga and Sunland.

"Along with the toys, the families were given two large baskets of food and a $20 gift certificate to the local market," according to the sheriff's office.
