Dinosaur Cake

This is a strawberry cake with strawberry filling and chocolate frosting that I made for a 4th birthday party.  The top of cake is drawn in melted chocolate, the water is blue piping gel, and the dinosaurs and volcano are formed out of fondant.   The board is covered with frosting and crushed cookies/brown sugar.

The volcano was molded around a water bottle with the top cut off.  I then poured water and strawberry jello mix into the bottle (3/4 full) and added a piece of dry ice to create the eruption.  It starts off by “smoking” and then oozes red goo.
