The Crescenta Valley Sheriff's Station, County Fire Department and California Highway Patrol will host a National Night Out event in La Crescenta on August 6 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
All residents of La Crescenta, La Canada Flintridge and Montrose are invited to participate in the event, which will feature a safety fair, child fingerprinting and more. The event will be held at the Ralph's at 2675 Foothill Boulevard in La Crescenta.
National Night Out events are held across the country by police department to promote crime prevention and to give officers and residents a chance to meet socially.
