International Walk to School Day: Did You Stroll?

Kids and parents marched to school together for Walktober and International Walk to School Day.

A crowd of kids and parents met at Two Strike Park early Wednesday for Walktober's International Walk to School Day.

The day celebrates walking to school and is part of Glendale's Safe Routes to School Program.

There were 33 schools participating in the Glendale area, including Rosemont Middle School and Monte Vista Elementary, where Patch met up with local kids and parents.
