Southern California Horticultural Society Meeting

California Native Plant Growers Panel

Celebrate the fall planting season with a panel of professional California native plant growers--Madena Asbell of the Theodore Payne Foundation, Bart O'Brien of Rancho Santa Ana Botanic Garden and Bob Sussman of Matilija Nursery--sharing their expertise, enthusiasm and beautifully grown plants. During the program, each panelist will describe ten different California natives from their nursery, including each plant's history, unique qualities and cultural requirements. No doubt, you'll learn a lot about California flora and be inspired to add these and other native plants to your own landscape.

The meeting, held at Friendship Hall in the Atwater area, is free to SCHS members and $5 each for non-members without a guest pass. No charge for children under 18 years of age. Ample free, on-site parking is available.
