KIWANIS INCREDIBLE DUCK RACE

Kiwanis
Club of Glendale - the Incredible Duck Splash

October 12, 2013 from 10:00
am to 2:00 pm at Verdugo Park is the official date of the Incredible Duck
Splash.  The Duck Splash is the largest FUNraiser of the year for Glendale’s largest service
club, raising more than $55,000 per in year in direct support to local
non-profit, schools and community based organizations.

Each year, Verdugo Park is
transformed into Lake Glendale where about 17,000 rubber ducks race to the
finish line. Those who attend the event are not only able to see the spectacle
of rubber duckies with sunglasses racing down a rapid river, but have an
opportunity to visit various booths, trying their hand at several games of
chance, all for charity.  1st
place winner will receive $10,000.00, 2nd place winner will receive
$1,000.00 and 3rd place will receive $500.00. Winner does not have
to be present to win.
