Rosemont Preserve Renewal Day

Native plant expert Roger Klemm will be leading volunteers in the first of many sessions to restore the natural habitat at the newly established Rosemont Preserve. We will focus on identifying and removing invasive plant species to allow room for the native flora to become reestablished.

Please join us on Saturday, November 24 from 10:00am until noon for a few hours of fresh mountain air -- and a chance to work off that Thanksgiving meal! Wear sturdy shoes, comfortable work clothes and garden gloves (long pants and sleeves are recommended.) Please bring a shovel if you have one, other specialized plant removal equipment will be provided.

The Preserve is located at the north end of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. As street parking is limited, please park at Two Strike Park, 5107 Rosemont Avenue, and walk up to the top of Rosemont.
