Five Things to Fuel Your Friday

Concerts and spa treatments to start your weekend off right!

1. Chrisitan alternative rock group "Future of Forestry" performs tonight at the  (2902 Montrose Ave.). The concert benefits the Children's Hunger Fund. Tickets can be purchased for $9 online or $11 at the door. The fun begins at 7 p.m.!

2. Los Angeles County Supervisor Michael D. Antonovich sponsors a free concert at the (2809 Foothill Blvd.) from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Argentine band Nativa presents country folk rooted in the sounds of traditional South American music. Call the library at 818-248-5313 for more information.

3. . Trial is set to begin September 6 and Patch has obtained a copy of the Grand Jury's charges. The center and former administrator Phyllis Paver are accused of felony abuse and neglect after the suicide of a patient.

4. Don't worry if you missed Shakespeare performed in . Right next door the La Cañada Shakespeare Festival is underway. Bring a picnic and enjoy a night under the stars with Vanguard Rep's performance of A Midsummer Night's Dream. The festival is held at the Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy.
