Bites Nearby: Java Brew

This local coffee house serves up hot and cold beverages and meals perfect for everybody.

For the past four years,  has been serving up delicious fresh beverages alongside gourmet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners. Java Brew offers much more than you might expect in a coffee shop. They serve up their own freshly brewed house coffee daily and their menu of hot and chilled drinks is extensive.

Espresso beverages are some of the most popular at Java Brew and with choices like raspberry or peppermint mochas and espresso macchiato it is easy to see why. Over ten different espresso drinks, that can served hot or over ice, top their menu, but a whole section of their menu is devoted solely to ice blended beverages. Few things in life are as refreshing as an ice blended infusion on a hot day. Java Brew mixes up coffee based creations like coffee vanilla and caramel mocha freezes in addition to ice blended green tea and chai teas.

Fresh fruit smoothies are also very popular among their regular customers. I personally love their "Pineapple Paradise" blended smoothie, and the "Mango Tropics" and "Acai "smoothies are wonderful as well.

Java Brew's slushies are almost legendary with my children. Flavors like peach, strawberry, passion fruit and green apple, to name a few, are refreshing and perfect for warm summer days. Thirst-quenching ice teas in a variety of blends are also offered. Fresh breakfasts can be ordered as your beverage is created. Numerous English Muffin, bagel, and croissant selections combined with egg, ham, cheese, or bacon are included in their menu and daily specials are posted around the front ordering area.

Java Brew also serves up lunch and early dinners. I personally love their paninis and the turkey mozzarella on sourdough is quite wonderful. This particular panini comes complete with bell peppers, tomatoes, romaine, and is drizzled in balsamic dressing. The vegetarian focaccia panini is also quite fantastic with goat cheeses, grilled eggplant, asparagus, bell peppers, onion, zucchini, tomatoes, and spring mix lettuce.

They also create new twists on classic grilled cheese sandwiches, like smoked mozzarella with spinach and garlic pesto on sourdough or provolone and cream cheese with fresh tomato and basil on a croissant. Choose from three different salads such as garden, oriental, or Caesar, all with the option of adding grilled chicken. Dining with the kids? Try out a classic PB & J with banana or croissant with Nutella chocolate hazelnut bread, yum!

Java Brew is not just a local coffee house, but a gourmet eatery with beautiful tables for dining outside, in the shade under an umbrella or out in the sun.
