Montrose Professional Joins Ranks of California Certified Managers

Sasoon Mananian with Spectra Associates Inc. in Montrose has earned statewide certification from the California Association of Community Managers.

Sasoon Mananian with Spectra Associates Inc. in Montrose, Calif., has earned the California-specific designation of “Certified Community Association Manager” (CCAM®) from the California Association of Community Managers (CACM) during the last quarter of 2012. The CCAM certification is awarded to community managers who have completed CACM’s educational curriculum program and fulfilled a minimum requirement of work experience in the field of community association management.

“Earning the CCAM designation – which focuses 100 percent on California law as it
pertains to community management – is a hard-earned achievement and we are
proud of Sasoon and all of our managers statewide,” said Karen Conlon, president and CEO of CACM. “Unlike national designations, the CCAM is specific to California, which features a highly complex body of law governing homeowners associations. Managers who earn the CCAM designation are well-equipped to
navigate California law and have demonstrated strong, ethical standards of conduct and practice as they relate to managing common interest developments in this state.”

Based in Laguna Hills, Calif., CACM was the first community association management organization in the nation to establish a California-specific educational program leading to the designation of “Certified Community Association Manager” (CCAM®) for industry professionals. CACM’s membership is comprised of more than 3,000 California-based professionals from the community association management industry. California is home to more than 46,000 associations, making it a multi-billion dollar industry for the state. For more information on CACM, please visit www.cacm.org.
