Blog: Lose 8 Pounds a Month

If you really want to lose weight this is a guaranteed way to do it.

For most things there are no guarantees. There are also certain things in math called axioms or basic truths. The following is basically an axiom of weight loss. If you already work out and watch what you eat but can’t lose weight: this may be for you. You need to want it badly and you have to be tough.

As a personal trainer in the La Crescenta area for 20 plus years, I have often heard lots of lame excuses for not doing what it takes to make progress. One of my favorites was: I’m not willing to give up my chicken wings. The list goes on and on.

The following is not easy but if you believe 21- 6 = 15, you may understand what I have found to be a no brainer.

To lose two to three pounds a week follow this program and do not substitute. If you normally have three meals a day for seven days you have 21 meals a week. This plan requires two 24 hour fast days. You will never go a day without eating however. One day per week usually Monday you will have a late breakfast (11 a.m.) and a late lunch about (4 p.m.). You will skip dinner and have nothing to eat until dinner the following evening. This means you will go 24 hours with out eating. From 6 p.m. Monday until 6 p.m. Tuesday you will fast for 24 hours and skip three meals.

You will repeat this on Thursday. Have a late breakfast and a late lunch. Skip dinner and the next days breakfast and lunch. Eat dinner after 6 p.m. and you will have skipped a total of six meals for the week. You will have fasted two days but have never gone a day without eating. Having 15 meals a week instead of 21 guarantees weight loss success.

This plan is a proven way to lose weight but is only for the very determined and serious. You will be a little hungry at times but it will pay off by finally achieving weight loss success.

The best way to lose weight and keep it off is through a sensible eating and exercise. I've noticed diet plans that require fasting, excluding an entire food group or other extreme measure tend to make people lose weight quickly, but gain it back...and then some. Those trying to lose weight need to shift their mindsets from "dieting" to "lifestyle change." Unfortunately, there's just no easy fix. It took time to put the weight on, and it's going to take time to take the weight off (in a healthy, sustainable way).

I agree with everything you said .I've said the same thing to hundreds of clients for the past 20 plus years. Unfortunately what makes the most sense doesn't work for some people. This was just a somewhat crazy alternative for someone in need of a quick fix. I have about 60-70 blog entries. If you visit our site, you'll find 99% are on the money and tailored for someone as sharp as you.

I can well empathsize with your loss. First thing, can you remember taking it off anywhere? DidRead More you wash your hands anywhere, soap makes fingers slippery. Did it fit well or was it a little loose? Running makes the arms swing. Strange as it may seem, it may still be in or on your own property. There are still honest people, call the desk of every business you went to. Also, call every pawn shop in your area and report. Good luck. If its any comfort, I found a diamond studded tie tack when I gazed at the soil in my garden and saw it. Keep us posted. b
