Although SCORE Los Angeles has been helping start-ups and small business owners since 1964, many don’t know about this nonprofit organization or the services it offers.
SCORE L.A. provides workshops and round tables across a wide array of business topics to help clients rapidly develop their businesses and grow revenues.
In one year alone, SCORE L.A. provided mentoring and assistance to 14,431 clients. With proper guidance and individual mentoring, entrepreneurs have a far better likelihood of starting a business and staying in business.
Thought of as the mentors to America’s Small Businesses, SCORE volunteers are from every walk of business life. Most have owned or still own successful businesses – others come from high-level management positions; directors and VPs of Fortune 500 companies, owners and presidents of retail chains, manufacturing companies, distributors and franchisers.
