Starbucks Offers Free 'Holiday Beverages' Through Dec. 16

A promotion at Starbucks beginning Thursday gives patrons a free holiday beverage with the purchase of one.

Get a Caramel Brulee Latte, then give your friend a Gingerbread Latte on the house.

Starbucks is offering a "buy one, get one free" deal on holiday beverages starting Thursday and ending Dec. 16. The deal is good between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Montrose and La Crescenta have several Starbucks locations, which you can see here.

Do you have a favorite Starbucks holiday beverage? Tell us in the comments.

"Free" means no purchase necessary. IMO, this is a cheap marketing gimmick to sell more Starbucks products. This is one of many reasons (including everything being overpriced in the first place) that I will not return to STARBUCKS.

"Buy one - get one free" is nothing more than a 50% off (overall) offer. With STARBUCKS phenomenal markup structure, they are still making a ton of money on this promotion. With it costing barely anything to make the first expensive cup, what do you think it costs to make the 2nd, maybe .20 cents? The title of this Patch article: 'Starbucks Offers Free 'Holiday Beverages' , IMO, is deceiving and innnacurate. It SHOULD have said "Starbucks offering "buy 1, 1 free' promotion". THAT would have been accurate, rather than burying the details in the body copy of the article.
