Someone Stole a Truck Full of Italian Meat, Sausage

Sheriff's deputies recovered the truck in La Puente with half of the Italian meats and sausage missing.

Someone stole a parked semi truck and trailer packed with miscellaneous Italian meats and sausages.

A 46-year-old Montrose man parked the vehicle on Ramsdell Avenue, near Encinal Avenue, according to a report from the . 

The victim told deputies that the truck went missing sometime between 11 p.m. August 6 and 1:30 a.m. August 7. He woke up to start delivering the meats about 6 a.m. and saw the truck and trailor were missing. A witness across the street from where the vehicle sat parked told the victim that about 1:30 a.m. he noticed the truck and trailer were missing.

The deli selection in the trailer was worth about $150,000.

Industry Sheriff’s deputies recovered the semi truck and trailer at 13089 E. Railroad Ave. in La Puente. The victim said about half of the delicious cargo was missing.
