Someone Stole a Truck Full of Italian Meat, Sausage

Sheriff’s deputies recovered the truck in La Puente with half of the Italian meats and sausage missing.

Someone stole a parked semi truck and trailer packed with miscellaneous Italian meats and sausages.

A 46-year-old Montrose man parked the vehicle on Ramsdell Avenue, near Encinal Avenue, according to a report from the . 

The victim told deputies that the truck went missing sometime between 11 p.m. August 6 and 1:30 a.m. August 7. He woke up to start delivering the meats about 6 a.m. and saw the truck and trailor were missing. A witness across the street from where the vehicle sat parked told the victim that about 1:30 a.m. he noticed the truck and trailer were missing. 

The deli selection in the trailer was worth about $150,000.

Industry Sheriff’s deputies recovered the semi truck and trailer at 13089 E. Railroad Ave. in La Puente. The victim said about half of the delicious cargo was missing. 

It's still unclear who took the truck and trailer.

Well, my cat can't reach the gas pedal, so I know it wasn't him.
