John Krikorian, Publisher of Business Life Magazine, Dead at 80

The magazine publisher was a recognizable figure in the Glendale community.

John Krikorian, the 80-year-old publisher of Business Life magazine and popular figure in the Glendale community, died early Saturday morning of heart failure.

In 2011, Krikorian suffered a heart attack while accepting an award for his community service at the Glendale Fire Department, according to the Glendale News Press.

Although Krikorian recovered from the heart attack, health problems continued to plague Krikorian.

Krikorian served on the Los Angeles County Small Business Commission and the Glendale Adventist Medical Center Advisory Council, among other organizations.

He is survived by a wife, six sons, two daughters and 23 grandchildren.
