Where to Celebrate St. Paddy's Day

Everyone's a little Irish, right? Here are several events and local joints that offer Saint Patrick day fun for everybody.

There are plenty of local plans for Saint Patrick's Day to keep you celebrating from the moment you wake up until the time you close your eyes. 

Check out the events and locales that offer St. Paddy's Day fun. 

Devour Kegs and Eggs 

Beginning with breakfast at , adults can dine Irish style at 8:30 a.m. Saturday. The local bar and grill also invites you to enjoy March Madness and continue the St. Paddy's day celebration at 'McLeo's' every morning from Thursday, March 15 to Sunday, March 18. 

Catch a Family Irish Flick

Kids and parents are invited to watch the 1959 Disney classic Darby O'Gill and the Little People and enjoy a sampling of treats including Irish soda bread, bubble and squeak, corned beef and Irish cookies. The movie, featuring a young Sean Connery, will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. at .  

Eat a Home-Cooked Irish Meal

If home is where your Irish heart wants to be, then pre-order Irish sausage from . You can also purchase some corned beef or cabbage at . 

Sip a Guinness or Green Beer

Guinness, Jameson or both may be calling your name on St. Paddy's. Have a seat at the , enjoy the jukebox and meet the Guinness Girls, who are expected to be at the lounge promoting the ale. Green beer will also be served. 

Listen to a Bagpiper

If you're ready for green beer and a bagpiper named Ian, head back to 'McLeo's' for corned beef and cabbage. The music starts at 6 p.m. and continues throughout the night. 

Stop by a Local Irish Pub

may be the only self-titled Irish bar in Montrose and La Crescenta and hosts locals for plenty with Guinness on tap. Enjoy the pool table and just don't forget to wear green.

I feel bad that teachers are having to pull money out of their own pockets, I wonder whateverRead More happened to the lottery money that was supposed to go to schools? I am a volunteer for an organization that offers free drug education kits to any teacher with booklets on the various harmful drugs .
