Harvest Market Revenues Spike

The Montrose Shopping Park Assn. reported a 500 percent jump in revenue since April.

The Sunday Harvest Market has seen an increase in revenue since April, with profits jumping from about $600 a week to about $4,000 a week, according to an article in the Glendale News-Press.

The spike in revenue comes after the Montrose Shopping Park Assn., which oversees the Harvest Market, created a "Harvest Market Oversight Committee" to keep closer tabs on the market.

The MSPA has also alleged that former MSPA President and ex-Glendale City Councilmember John Drayman embezzled funds from the market. Glendale Police are currently investigating. Drayman used to handle much of the money collected from the market. But in April, the responsibility of collecting of funds went to the new oversight committee.
