People came to sip locally brewed craft beer and relax during the two-day event coined "The Crestival."
The Crest, formerly known as Whisperz, is under new management and is no longer the pool table and beer pong destination it once was.
The comfortable, floral-themed booths, tall tables and beer on draft offer a place for creators to hang their art and enjoy live entertainment.
"A different crowd is coming here now. It's open-minded, artistic, intelligent," said a bartender, who declined to publish his name.
The Crest is located at 3645 Foothill Blvd., La Crescenta. Hours are 5 p.m. to 2 a.m. daily.
