Foothill 76 Gas Station Left Abandoned for Weeks

Crews and the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department don't know what caused the 76 Station owner to close the station.

Local drivers may have noticed the caution tape surrounding the at 2384 Foothill Blvd. in La Canada Flintridge, near the border of Montrose-La Crescenta. 

"As far as we know, we have no idea why it closed," said Sheriff's Sgt. Brett Hanson of the . 

Patch checked with Conoco Phillips customer service representatives but no information about why the station closed is immediately available.
