Summer Nights Free Concert at Crescenta Valley Community Church

Crescenta Valley Church continues its mission of bringing the Los Angeles music scene to La Crescenta with its second annual “Summer Nights” concert on Sunday, June 24 at 6 p.m., while also collecting food for Sue's Garden, a local food bank that serves local families in need.

“Summer Nights” will feature cover songs from some of the most popular artists today, like Adele, Jason Mraz, Bruce Springsteen, Gotye and more, in a family-friendly environment. The CVCHURCH music team features artists that work with some of the biggest names in the industry, including American Idol and Dionne Warwick.

Admission to “Summer Nights” is free, and it includes child care and refreshments for the whole family.

For those looking for original music from some of the hottest local artists there is “Strings & Beans,” a monthly coffee house where artists who usually frequent the Roxy, House of Blues or Hotel Cafe stop by at CVCHURCH for an intimate set in the Foothills of La Crescenta. “Strings & Beans” is held on the first Tuesday of every month.

In addition to “Summer Nights” and “Strings & Beans,” CVCHURCH is also hosting a Guitar & Vocal Camp starting on Monday, June 25th at 8:30 a.m. led by Azusa Pacific University School of Music graduates Moses Sun and LaKesha Nugent, the 5-day camp is open to grades 5-8.
