Vacation Bible School at La Crescenta Presbyterian July 11-15

Each year La Crescenta Presbyterian Church offers  Vacation Bible School to children age 4 through 6th grade in our community. This year the dates are  Monday through Friday, July 11-15th from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon and the theme is  "SonSurf Beach Bash". The cost is $30 per child and scholarships are available.

"This is our pinnacle event in terms of our children's programming" says  Children's Ministries Director Ashley Adamson. "We are so excited to see the children year after year." We anticpate having close to 300 children this year.

The big event of the week is the SonSurf Beach Bash on Thursday, July 14th from 6:00-9:00 PM which will include a delicious dinner, dunk tank, water slides, a Limbo contest, raffles and a time of music inside the church sanctuary so that parents can see what their children are learning. The cost is only $5 per person or $20 for a family of four or more.

"My kids loved VBS so much when they were little, that once they were too old for the program, they couldn't wait to volunteer as helpers." says former Valley View PTA member and now Rosemont and CV High mom Michele Fernandez.  "I don't think our children ever missed a year."
