The Chancel Choir of La Canada Congregational Church will present a musical celebration of the Christmas season at a concert December 4th at 4 PM in the church sanctuary.
The free concert, open to the public, will feature music by Malcolm Archer, John Rutter, Peter Tranchell, Robert Scholz, William Walton and William Mathias.
An original composition by prize-winning composer Christina Whitten Thomas will also be presented. Ms. Whitten Thomas is a mezzo-soprano with the church’s choir.

In addition to Ms Whitten Thomas, soloists will be: Soprano April Amante, tenor Glenn Fernandez, and baritone Jeremy Morada.
The choir is under the direction of Harold Daugherty. Joseph Kline is the accompanist.
