The Crescenta Valley Fireworks Assn. presents an Independence Day fireworks spectacular and hometown fair at La Crescenta Elementary School this July 4.
Gates open at 4:00 p.m. and close at 8:30 p.m., with fireworks starting at dusk. An estimated 5,000 people attended last year.
This year's celebration will include many improvements and favorites from last year, according to CV Fireworks' President Mike Shaar. Live entertainment, carnival rides and a "true California dining experience" will be in store for attendees.
Food trucks Border Grill, No Tomatoes, Let's be Frank and Frozen Crush will all be parked and ready to cook up delicious meals, according to the CV Fireworks Assn.
Seating to watch the fireworks will be on the elementary school playground asphalt, so be sure to bring comfortable blankets, sleeping bags or folding chairs to sit on.
Tickets are $5.00 each with children under 2-years-old admitted free. Servicemen and women in uniform will be admitted for free.
