The Montrose Arts and Crafts Festival is this Saturday and Sunday in the Montrose Shopping Park.

Looking to add some original artwork or handicrafts to your home? Or take a downtown stroll with New Orleans jazz as your soundtrack? Then head out to the 28th Annual Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival in the Montrose Shopping Park this weekend, Saturday June 4 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday June 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The two-day festival will span three blocks, running along Honolulu Ave. from Verdugo Rd. to Orangedale Ave., and is expected to bring 300 artisans, food vendors, farmers and entertainers from as close as La Crescenta to as far away as Oregon. Visitors will find hand-crafted ceramics, clothing, jewelry and more.

“The weather is going to be great, thank god,” said Dee Ovendon, Festival Coordinator. “I think [visitors] will have a great time.”
