Who Spray Painted 'Prom?' on a Rock in Cherry Canyon?
Hiker Anne Karayan snapped a photo of the word "Prom?'' scrawled across a rock on the Owl Trail, the La Cañada Valley Sun reports.
It may have been a prom prank, but La Cañada resident Anne Karayan isn't laughing.
The La Cañada Valley Sun reported Thursday that the avid hiker took a photo on the Owl Trail of what appears to be a prom invitation: the word "Prom'', followed by a question mark, spray painted in black letters on a rock formation in Cherry Canyon in La Canada Flintridge. You may view the photo here.
In an email to the newspaper, Karayan wrote, "“Every morning I walk along the trail with my dog. It's beautiful under the oaks, an escape from the city into a natural paradise. To find graffiti on the boulders ruins that sweet, innocent beauty,” the article states.
