That's not an easy one! I'm making a wild guess and saying it might be part of the art of the "Cutters" hair salon on Foothill Blvd. in La Crescenta, but that's just speculation. I'm curious now!

How about a hint? Take a picture from 10 feet further away.

@Diana - Thanks for the order. It's on Foothill Boulevard, near Dunsmore Avenue.

Are there any dumps or junk yards near Foothill and Dunsmore? It is an old rotten door and the emblem is strange in that the metal strap runs over the emblem with a screw through it. The strap had to be removed in order to get the emblem under it...or..at least the screw had to be removed. This would take some work and why would anyone go to that trouble? If the strap had been taped, then it could have been painted on, but why....The only thing that appears other than the door is what appears to be dirt with a cement on top.....It smacks of a preparation made for the purpose of trying to fool people as to where it is. Now, if someone gets in a wreck while driving around that area....because of looking for this.....As to where, I don't know, but as to what it is I would guess it is a part of O'Bama's jobs, jobs, jobs plan.

Upon another guess, what I thought was brown dirt is more likely rotten wood. this means the area is being torn down...bull dozer work....so, all you have to look for is a structure torn down and perhaps a dozer...remember, I am 1500 miles away. I deserve a handi-cap...I go for a demolition site. If I am right..I am one of the winners....:)))

I drove past that corner, but didn't see it. I am probably just overlooking it.

Diana: Do you kid well? How did you know you drove past corner if you didn't see "it" :) I am pretty sure it was a demolition site and it is probably all cleaned up now. Maybe it was taken in Nicole's back yard and now she is afraid to say it :)

This is a strange site..What is this red msg that says I forgot to let you know how I feel...I didn't know people cared anymore....I feel better now....and, how do you feel ?
Diana R Rising November 28, 2012 at 04:00 PM
I don't see any red messages like you referred to. I'll watch for that. It is a little bit odd how the site works, but I like it. I feel fine. I was happy to say something to that person who was being rude to you on that other thread. I sure couldn't tell what set her off, it must have just been a bad day for her. Nicole gave a hint above that the picture was near Dunsmore and Foothill. I have to look more closely, because every time I drive past that corner has been after dark or when I was in a big hurry.
