Volunteers Invited to Help Restore Rosemont Preserve

The next restoration day at the Rosemont Preserve is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 29, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Have you seen the new open space in La Crescenta? 

The Arroyos & Foothills Conservancy invites community members to enjoy the mountain air and help restore the Rosemont Preserve to its natural condition. 

Here is what you need:

  • Sturdy shoes
  • Comfortable work clothes (long pants and sleeves are recommended) 
  • Garden gloves 
  • Consider bringing any of the following tools: shovels, spades, loppers, hatchets, clippers. 

Other tools and equipment will be provided by the organization. 

The Preserve is located at the northern location of Rosemont Avenue, just past the chain link fence. Parking is limited and locals can park at Two Strike Park just south of the space.  

This event is free to the public. All ages are welcomed. No reservations are required.
