Package found outside area Temple, citizens evacuated.

A suspicious package outside a temple prompted the evacuation of surrounding businesses and homes in Glendale, Friday.

The package was found outside Temple Sinai, 1212 North Pacific Avenue. Experts with the Los Angeles County Sheriff's bomb squad determined the package, which appeared to have exposed wires, was safe after failing to detonate it, according to the Glendale News-Press.
