A storm system is moving into the Southland Wednesday, bringing with it a chance of light showers on Thanksgiving, according to the National Weather Service.
Should rain clouds appear, they are expected to clear by Thursday night, leaving the sun out for Black Friday shoppers.
The weather service predicts the sunny weather to stay until next week when the Santa Ana winds begin to pick up.
Thanksgiving Day in Montrose is expected to hit a high near 58 degrees with a 20 percent chance of rain. Sun is in the forecast with a high near 68 degrees.
