Montrose Christmas Parade: Upload Your Photos and Videos

Did you see the hundreds of people marching through Montrose during the rainy Saturday night? What were your impressions? Upload your photos or videos here on Patch.

Last year the wind tried to stop it. Then this year, the rain began to fall. However, nothing stopped this year's annual Christmas parade.

Grand marshals for the parade this year were Jet Propulsion Laboratory's Mars Curiosity Rover team and original "Star Trek" actor Walter Koenig.

Koenig, @GineokwKoenig, joked about the rain via Twitter:

"Now I know what it means to "rain on my parade" I was a grand marshal for a holiday parade in Montrose-Glendale tonight.. It rained."

Glendale Police Department officers and Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, Crescenta Valley Station deputies closed off the areas north and south of Honolulu Avenue, between Verdugo Road and La Crescenta Avenue.

Local leaders, organizations marched along Honolulu Avenue during the parade.

I feel bad that teachers are having to pull money out of their own pockets, I wonder whateverRead More happened to the lottery money that was supposed to go to schools? I am a volunteer for an organization that offers free drug education kits to any teacher with booklets on the various harmful drugs . Educators play a vital role for our children and in society and should be supported in any way possible. Any who might be interested, e-mail me at tbadger2000@yahoo.com.
