Montrose Art Walk Happening Saturday

Hundred of art pieces and demonstrations by artists will be on hand.

Nearly two dozen artists from the area will descend on Honolulu Avenue Saturday week for the third of what will be four Montros-Verdugo-City Art Walks that will be held in 2013.

The two previous art walks were on May 18 and July 21, and the fourth will be on Nov. 16. 

Artists from the foothills and neighboring cities will showcase their talents and offer a wide variety of art, ranging from water color, oil, acrylic, wood, ceramics, photography and glass work.The Art Walk is in its ninth year.

The Art Walk is free for patrons. The event runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the 2300 and 2400 blocks of Honolulu Avenue.

The Art Walk is run by the Montrose Verdugo-City Chamber of Commerce. Proceeds go to benefit the variety of events and businesses of Montrose.
