Missing Hiker Located in Big Tujunga Canyon
Search teams located the man several hours later after he was reported missing.
LA CRESCENTA (CNS) - A 28-year-old Pasadena man who became lost while hiking Big Tujunga Canyon in the Angeles National Forest was safe today thanks to a rescue by a search and rescue team, according to the sheriff's department.
The man became separated from the rest of his party around 7 p.m. Thursday, officials at the Los Angeles County sheriff's Crescenta Valley Station said.
He was found around 10:15 p.m. huddling uninjured off the trail near Big Tujunga Dam, the sheriff's department reported.
