Meet Jasper, the Friendliest Pooch You'll Know

See if Jasper, a handsome Golden Labrador mix, can find a friendly belly rub from your loved ones.

Jasper is a strong two-year-old dog, weighing 54 pounds and ready for a home.

When he first arrived at Glendale Humane Society, Jasper made little eye contact and searched for an escape route whenever he could leave his kennel.

Now, he's learning to "sit" and sit when a trainer takes his collar on and off. He also walks well on a leash, listens and learns very fast.

Jasper needs a home and family who enjoys hiking and belly rubs galore. He's a sweet, well-behaved dog and would love to have an owner.

To adopt Jasper, check out the guidelines at Glendale Humane Society website.

Glendale Humane Society is located at 717 W. Ivy Street, Glendale. Their phone number is (818) 242-1128, and their email address is info@glendalehumane.org.

The office and kennel hours are Tuesday through Friday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are closed on Mondays.

Information about Jasper is provided by of the Glendale Humane Society, a no-kill shelter.

I feel bad that teachers are having to pull money out of their own pockets, I wonder whateverRead More happened to the lottery money that was supposed to go to schools? I am a volunteer for an organization that offers free drug education kits to any teacher with booklets on the various harmful drugs . Educators play a vital role for our children and in society and should be supported in any way possible. Any who might be interested, e-mail me at tbadger2000@yahoo.com.
